جمال محسن مسلم بہاری آف امریکا کے کو فاونڈر ہیں۔ ہمہ جہت شخصیت کے مالک جمال محسن صحافی، فکاہیہ کالم نویس اور ڈرامہ نگار ہیں کراچی یونیورسٹی سے M.A. صحافت اور آئیونا یونیورسٹی نیویارک سے M.B.A. فائنانس ہیں ۔ جمال محسن کا تعلق ایک صحافی گھرانے سے ہے چار میں سے تین بھائیوں نے صحافت کا پیشہ اختیار کیا سبی صبیح محسن (مرحوم)، افضال محسن اور خود جمال محسن نے قلم کے ساتھ گہری دوستی رکھی ۔ چوتھے بھائی ڈاکٹر اقبال محسن ارضیات کے موضوع پر میڈیا میں لکھتے اور تجزیہ کرتے ہیں ۔
جمال محسن اسکول سے یونیورسٹی تک تعلیمی اور سماجی سرگرمیوں میں مصروف رہے اسکول میں سکاوٹنگ، بینڈ اور تقریری مقابلوں میں حصہ لیتے رہے کالیج اور یونیورسٹی کے زمانے میں سوشل تنظیموں بزم خیام، پاک یوتھ سوشل آرگنائزیشن اور سوہنی دھرتی یوتھ کونسل سے منسلک رہے نیویارک منتقلی کے بعد پاکستان فیڈریشن آف امریکہ، پاکستان لیگ آف امریکا اور پاکستان امریکن کمیونٹی آف لانگ آئیلنڈ (پاکولی) میں سماجی سرگرمیوں کے علاوہ2007 میں ملن کے نام سے انجمن بنا کر امریکہ میں کنواروں کے لیے ایک سنجیدہ مسئلہ یعنی اپنے عقیدے میں رشتہ ڈھوننے میں تقریب رشتہ کے ذریعے مدد دیتے ہیں ۔ 2023 میں “مسلم بہاری آف امریکا “ کی تشکیل دی ،اسکے کو فاونڈر ہیں۔ ایم بی اے نام کی انجمن بنا کر نارتھ امریکا میں بہاری نژادوں کو ایک پلیٹ فارم پر اکھٹا کیا ہے۔
پیشے کے اعتبار سے سٹاک بروکر اور فنا نشل ایڈوائزر ہیں لیکن لکھنے لکھانے کو مشغلے کے طور پر مستقلا جاری رکھے ہوئے ہیں۔
Jamal Mohsin comes from a family of journalists, with three out of four brothers choosing journalism as their profession. His late brother, Sabih Mohsin, Afzal Mohsin, and Jamal himself have maintained a strong bond with the pen. The fourth brother, Dr. Iqbal Mohsin, writes and analyzes media content on the subject of geology.
From school to university, Jamal Mohsin remained actively engaged in academic and social activities. During his school years, he participated in scouting, band, and speech competitions. In college and university, he was associated with various social organizations, including Bazm-e-Khayyam, Pak Youth Social Organization, and Sohni Dharti Youth Council.
After moving to New York, he continued his social involvement through organizations such as the Pakistan Federation of America, Pakistan League of America, and the Pakistan American Community of Long Island (PACOLI’s founding member ). In addition to these efforts, he founded an organization in 2007 called MilanUS.com which addresses a serious issue for singles in America—helping them find suitable matches within their faith through matchmaking events.
He co-founded “Muslim Bihari of America” in 2023 creating a platform to unite Bihari-origin individuals across North America.
Professionally, Jamal Mohsin is a stockbroker and financial advisor, but he continues to pursue writing as a passionate hobby.
