About Me:
My name is Syed Zafir Aziz, and I am originally from Pakistan, with family roots in Bihar. I relocated to the United States in 2016, where I currently work as an Electrical Engineer in New York. My professional journey in engineering has been both fulfilling and challenging, allowing me to thrive in one of the world’s most dynamic and fast-paced cities.
In addition to my professional pursuits, I am a proud husband and father of three wonderful children—two boys and one girl. My wife, a dedicated Mental Health Therapist, plays a vital role in supporting and nurturing the well-being of individuals in our community. Together, we strive to create a balanced and enriching environment for our children, ensuring they grow up with a strong sense of cultural identity.
As part of this effort, I joined the Bihari community to stay connected to my heritage. Through this involvement, I aim to provide my children with the opportunity to learn about and embrace the rich history and traditions of their family’s origins, even as they are raised in the diverse cultural landscape of the United States.
My ultimate goal is to unite the Bihari community across North America, creating a strong network where we can support one another, share resources, and work together to grow and strengthen our community. By fostering these connections, I believe we can not only preserve our cultural legacy but also build a future where the Bihari community thrives and prospers, both individually and collectively.
