About Me:
My name is Tazeen Sher Haider, and I was born in Pakistan after my parents migrated from Bihar, India, to Pakistan. My education and work experience are in economics and accounting, and I have been working here for the past 26 years. After I got married to my husband, who is an engineer, we settled in the New York area 35 years ago and raised our family in this richly diverse city.

As immigrants, we sought out a community in our new home and relied on our Bihari roots to build relationships. Through family and friends, we were lucky to build a community of not only fellow Muslims but Biharis as well. Our 2 daughters grew up immersed in our culture, and we were blessed with 2 Bihari sons-in-law as well. As our family grows with the addition of 2 granddaughters, I hope to contribute to and grow the MBA so future generations can connect and build their own communities in America.
